Tending the Tree

Maintaining a strong Petition Tree requires paying attention to the needs of the Petitioners, and continually adding new ones to replace those who may have other responsibilities during the new season.  Tending the Tree has five major aspects:

Recognition

Recognition for a job well done is a big part of everyone's satisfaction with their work, and being a Petitioner is a lot of work.

Recruiting Petitioners is one of the most important jobs for the State Executive Director. This section of the web site is filled with information to assist this process.
